Dental Implants
We now offer dental implants to replace a missing tooth or teeth. Dental implants do not affect the teeth around them, they can look natural so no one can tell and can aid with chewing your food and speaking.
What is a Dental Implant?
A Dental Implant is a titanium fixture that is used to replace the root of your tooth and then a porcelain crown is placed on top. It is a permanent option for a gap at the front or back of your mouth.
Why might I need one?
When you lose a tooth due to decay or damage that is beyond repair, we recommend replacing it with an Implant. We know how difficult it can be to eat, talk and smile when a tooth is missing and replacement with an implant can restore your confidence.
Ignoring one missing tooth and affect the alignment of your other teeth and create an area of plaque retention

After your consultation, there are three appointments separated over a few months. This is important to allow your bone to integrate with the implant.

They can last a lifetime if well looked after.
How painful is having a dental implant?

How many teeth can I replace with an implant?
An implant can be used to replace a single tooth, to support a bridge that would replace 2-3 teeth or to help support a full denture (all teeth missing).
How much does a single tooth implant cost?
This is determined by the consultation process were we assess the quality and quantity of bone and decide what is the best implant system to use.
